Back to work after Christmas

After an extended period of inactivity on the project mainly due to the festive season and the "COLD" we have been gradually getting back up to speed in the last few weeks. Three weeks ago we spent some time just re-orientating ourselves by looking over what progress has been made and what’s left to do, checking parts and prioritising the work. Two weeks ago it was a little warmer which allowed us to make some new rubbers for the fuel tank and look at the horn mount. We also placed orders for some parts; a replacement throttle rod from Ron Greet, and a new excess fuel gaiter for the injection pump and a throttle linkage clip both from Dunlop Tractor Spares in N.Ireland. By the end of the week we had received the parts, fitted the new gaiter and started prepping some parts for undercoating including the new throttle rod, wings, and mounting kit. Last week all of the prepped parts got primed including the seat pan and the bonnet. Roll on good weather to allow us to get more painting done.
