Chrome Parts, and a little work!

A few weeks ago Dad and I collected the freshly re-chromed parts from the chrome’s in Bedworth. On the whole not a bad job but there is some disappointing pitting of one of the handles and a little on the front badge but at least they will be original and guaranteed to fit.

A little bit of lifting work was carried out using the transport box hauling a diesel engine from a Peugeot 607 from under the barn to the workshop.

Another quick exploration drive last week with Conor at the controls, his first ever driving lesson. At 8 1/2 (the 1/2 is important :) it was at very low speed as his legs need a bit more length yet.

Yesterday Dad, Conor and I went a little way down the field to retrieve a fallen tree we have had our eye on. Now the Rape has been harvested now was the time. A quick tug with the chain and out came the tree 'roots and all'. No pics sorry. But I have some of the chromed part that I'll upload when I find them.
