Among other things over the last few days the steering box side seals got replaced with new ones and the damaged casting was repaired. We filled the steering box with oil and no oil seems to be leaking out. We filled the injection pump with oil but it was immediately apparent that there was a fair leak from the fuel lift pump gasket attached to the injection pump. This was one area we didn't strip or check. The nuts and studs were loose so we refitted the lift pump with the same gasket but with some added red hematite. On re-filling all leaks were gone.
The engine and gearbox got filled with oil (engine flush will be done later) and the rear diff got a little top-up after some was spilt during hydraulic testing. The Air cleaner and oil bath were filled and mounted.
We started cleaning down the rear end so a final even top coat can be sprayed across the whole tractor.
It turns out that the radiator needs more work that first thought after water testing it. Eddie had performed a nice little repair on the bottom mountings however water leaked from two or three places in the core. After speaking on the phone to Loughbourgh Radiators this is going to be shipped off to them for a full rebuild for 120 quid which is 40 quid less than for the cheapest new
